Pranayama is the practice of breath control in yoga. It consists of breathing exercises which clear both physical and emotional obstacles in our body, freeing the breath and allowing the flow of prana – life energy.

During this 2 hour workshop we will explore the following Pranayamas:
1. Sun and Moon breath (Anulom-Vilom)
2. Kumbhaka Pranayama (Breath retention)
3. Kapalabhati Pranayama (Skull shining)
4. Simhasana (Lion’s Breath)
5. Ujjayi Pranayama
6. Bhramari Pranayama
7. Bhastrika Pranayama (Breath of fire)
